Laguna College Of Art And Design Common App
Welcome to Moore College of Art & Design! Moore was founded under the mission to expand women's access to higher education, specifically in the art and design fields. While the college is historically a women's college, the admissions policy is open to all students assigned female at birth, who self-identify as female, non-binary, or gender nonconforming individuals at the time of their application. We educate artists and designers to build creative, enterprising careers of significant impact. With its career-focused education, Moore provides scholarships for 100% of its BFA students, and is the only higher education visual arts institution that provides paid internships for all undergraduates. Moore offers 9 majors, (Animation & Game Arts, Art Education, Fashion Design, Film & Digital Cinema, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Illustration, Interior Design, and Photography), along with 11 complementary minors
Additional Information
100% of our students receive some form of financial assistance in the form of scholarships, grants, or additional awards. The Visionary Woman Honors Program is the College's most prestigious scholarship program, for talented, motivated and future-focused students who stand to benefit most from financial support and sustained mentorship, both inside and outside of the classroom. Students are nominated upon admittance and are required to submit an essay for consideration of acceptance into the program. First year recipients receive an annual scholarship of $25,000 and our transfer students will receive $20,000 annually. The Visionary Woman Honors Program (VWHP) is a historically named program but rest assured, all students who are accepted to Moore and meet the nomination requirements of this program, regardless of gender identity, are eligible to receive this scholarship. Students interested in attending Moore are encouraged to submit their FAFSA as soon as possible (school code 003300).
We want qualified students to focus on earning their degrees without excessive concern over how to fund their educations. Moore offers merit scholarships to all first-year, transfer and international undergraduate students based on the applicant's academic and artistic achievements. No additional application is necessary.
For more information regarding applying for financial aid, contact Moore's Financial Aid Office at 215.965.4041 or by email at finaid@moore.edu.
